EarthMats are currently used by US and NATO Conventional and Special Operations Forces around the world. These Forces have successfully used EarthMats in both training and operational deployments to support traversing soft terrain or recovering ground vehicles when bogged down in impossibly extreme terrains.

Stainless steel eyelets at the ends of the mat enable them to be secured to the ground by means of stakes supplied in the kit.

The EarthMats can be laid in advance in areas known to be impassable.
